I found this rather interesting. Look down the list of these special entitlements and see if you see any familiar names... If your Congressman or Senator is on this list, write them and tell them how frustrated you are with how our tax money is being wasted and given to special interests.

Among the highlights that might pizz you off are:
$1,000.000 for Clinton School of Public Service, Little Rock Ark in the Labor Bill
$1,500,000 for AFL-CIO Working for America Institute Washington DC
$7,500,000 for Harking grant Program, Iowa
$3,000.000 for Raza Development Fund of La Raza This one really pizzez me off!!!!
$10,695,000 National Board for Professional Teaching Standards
$6,305,310 John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts
$34,500,000 Alaska Native Educational Equity Assistance Program
There's lots more too. Take a look.
I know some of this stuff is needed, but gee, if it is really needed, then it doesn't need to be slipped into bills, and should be able to stand on it's own legislation.
