For Conservatives, the time has come in our lives that we are without representation.
The Main Stream Media has selected for us a Liberal in Republican Clothing.
The problem with this is, McCain has absolutely NO CHANCE in the General Election for '08.
The same MSM that has chosen him for us, will surely tear him down. If you look at the polling data,
you will see that the democrats came out in some cases 4-1 to vote for their candidate over the republicans.
Now this would seem like a mandate of the American People that we want a democrat in office. I think otherwise.
This reflects the fact that there is no bona fide Republican/Conservative in the race that will motivate
Conservatives to the voting booths. Here lies the problem. This will also lend to an overwhelming loss
of the White house, and it looks like it will be Obama as our next President.
Now, this is bad news for everyone that likes small government, lower taxes, and conservative principals.
On the other hand, we can't just sit on our hands and do nothing. By all means, vote for whom you want, but
vote!
The only way we stand a chance to regain the conservative agenda in America is for us to start really paying
attention to our local races.
I happen to be lucky to have two generally good senators in Kay Baily Hutchinson, John Cornyn and Kevin Brady
as my Congressman. These people seem to stand with me on the growth and role of the Federal Government and
Border Security.
Other people aren't so lucky. With a concerted effort, WE THE PEOPLE can change this.
Get out there people. Campaign for representatives that support your views. Let them know how you feel.
You have a much better chance of voicing your opinion to these people than you do of determining who will sit
in the White house.
I regularly communicate with all three of my Federal Representatives, but I also communicate with my local judges,
sheriff, councilmen, state representatives and so on. You would be surprised how much they actually listen!
The choice is yours... You can either "Woe is me" on election day, or you can take a stand and make your voice heard.
Don't wait for someone to come along to motivate you, this is not a lazy person's arena!
