Calling ALL TEXANS!!!

January 06, 2009

Calling All Members & Friends of CFIR:

The citizens of the State of Texas need your help! As in the founding of this great state, a call went out to protect its people from a foreign invasion. In 1836, it was repelled by the Texians (we were called Texians before we became Texans) at the Alamo and our final Battle of San Jacinto. We won final independence as a sovereign nation, and, nine years later we became a state in the United States of America.

Texas is no longer for Texans. Rep. Roberto Alonzo, (D-Dallas) has introduced a bill that prohibits cities from restricting landlords on who can rent homes from them – a direct criticism of Farmers Branch's efforts to keep illegal immigrants from renting homes there.

This invasion is happening again. Not with the alarm of a gun shot, but with the approach of men in business suits who want cheap labor, and who lobby our Texas Legislature with a pen and the promise of money. We are helping them with their goals by our apathy.

Millions upon millions of illegal aliens have invaded this country. They have changed the landscape of our nation---most of it for the worst. However, is it truly their fault? No! Who do we blame? We blame the employers - the disloyal Americans who knowingly employ illegal aliens in the many levels of the service and construction industries.

We have been told by many of our state legislators that we are blaming the illegal alien and not penalizing the true greedy culprit: the employer. Many politicians over the past several years have told us they would support and vote for legislation that did just that. Now they have their chance!

Like Arizona and Oklahoma, we now have the means to change the landscape of Texas for the better, and reverse the “human forming” of our state. We now have the ability to send people to their home country.   This will be done without deportations or threats of any kind. Just as illegal aliens walked across our border silently, and employers hired them, so they will silently go home and employers will pay the price in fines and/or jail time.

How will we do this? With your help and the help of Representative Leo Berman of Tyler, Texas. Our Texas legislators only meet every two years. They are meeting from January-May of 2009. Rep. Berman has introduced several immigration related bills. The strongest bill is HB 266. It will be the greatest single act to change Texas in the 21st century. This bill, as in other states, will enforce and make mandatory for all Texas employers the use of the federal database called E-Verify. This system i s 99.5% accurate. Every employer will verify the legal residency of their prospective employee via website or telephone call.

If the illegal alien is kept from employment, he cannot work. If he cannot work, he cannot eat or support himself or his family. The vast majority of illegal aliens will SELF-DEPORT. At the same time, employers will be fined and some will be convicted of a state felony.   Some will even serve jail time. Don’t you think this will deter illegal activity?

How can we get HB 266 passed? We need your help. We cannot do this without every person who reads this letter to act. First, talk to, e-mail, educate, and ask for help from all of your friends in this fight. Ask yourself and everyone you know in Texas to:

1.      Come with us on Wednesday, January 28 to lobby the Texas Legislature on HB 266 and other bills.    We will be representing IRCOT, the Immigration Reform Coalition of Texas. The legislators are most impressed by the “physical” presence of Texans coming to Austin. One person represents hundreds and hundreds of their constituents. More information will be coming soon.   Space is limited on the bus and RSVP is required.   You may follow us in your personal car or meet us at the capitol as well.

2.      If you cannot come to Austin, we need you to call your state representative and state senator and strongly ask for their endorsement and vote for HB 266 and other bills introduced by Rep. Berman.   We also need you to call every legislator in Austin and tell them you support these bills as well.

3.      We need you to call our local radio shows like Mike Gallagher at 660 KSKY, JD Wells and Jeff Bolton at 570 KLIF, and Mark Davis at 820 WBAP, and ask them to support HB 266. Ask them to put Rep. Leo Berman on their shows to get the word out to all Texans. Ask for interviews of CFIR leaders on their show.

4.      We need donations to carry out this fight through the media. Open your hearts and your purses to the men and women who are out of a job, displaced or affected by competing with illegal aliens for jobs. HB 266 will change this.

Folks, this is no longer a spectator sport. This is not the time to be an armchair quarterback or a couch potato (use the analogy that fits).   If you are reading this letter, we are talking to you! Will you hear the call or ignore our plea?

If you want to coordinate a caravan or something, let me know. I do plan to attend!!!

To Vote or Not to Vote, That is the question!

For Conservatives, the time has come in our lives that we are without representation.
The Main Stream Media has selected for us a Liberal in Republican Clothing.

The problem with this is, McCain has absolutely NO CHANCE in the General Election for '08.
The same MSM that has chosen him for us, will surely tear him down. If you look at the polling data,
you will see that the democrats came out in some cases 4-1 to vote for their candidate over the republicans.

Now this would seem like a mandate of the American People that we want a democrat in office. I think otherwise.
This reflects the fact that there is no bona fide Republican/Conservative in the race that will motivate
Conservatives to the voting booths. Here lies the problem. This will also lend to an overwhelming loss
of the White house, and it looks like it will be Obama as our next President.

Now, this is bad news for everyone that likes small government, lower taxes, and conservative principals.
On the other hand, we can't just sit on our hands and do nothing. By all means, vote for whom you want, but
vote!

The only way we stand a chance to regain the conservative agenda in America is for us to start really paying
attention to our local races.

I happen to be lucky to have two generally good senators in Kay Baily Hutchinson, John Cornyn and Kevin Brady
as my Congressman. These people seem to stand with me on the growth and role of the Federal Government and
Border Security.

Other people aren't so lucky. With a concerted effort, WE THE PEOPLE can change this.
Get out there people. Campaign for representatives that support your views. Let them know how you feel.
You have a much better chance of voicing your opinion to these people than you do of determining who will sit
in the White house.

I regularly communicate with all three of my Federal Representatives, but I also communicate with my local judges,
sheriff, councilmen, state representatives and so on. You would be surprised how much they actually listen!

The choice is yours... You can either "Woe is me" on election day, or you can take a stand and make your voice heard.
Don't wait for someone to come along to motivate you, this is not a lazy person's arena!

Global Cooling? Which is it?

The Sun Also Sets

By INVESTOR'S BUSINESS DAILY | Posted Thursday, February 07, 2008 4:20 PM PT

Climate Change: Not every scientist is part of Al Gore's mythical "consensus." Scientists worried about a new ice age seek funding to better observe something bigger than your SUV — the sun.

Related Topics: Global Warming

Back in 1991, before Al Gore first shouted that the Earth was in the balance, the Danish Meteorological Institute released a study using data that went back centuries that showed that global temperatures closely tracked solar cycles.

To many, those data were convincing. Now, Canadian scientists are seeking additional funding for more and better "eyes" with which to observe our sun, which has a bigger impact on Earth's climate than all the tailpipes and smokestacks on our planet combined.

And they're worried about global cooling, not warming.

Kenneth Tapping, a solar researcher and project director for Canada's National Research Council, is among those looking at the sun for evidence of an increase in sunspot activity.

Solar activity fluctuates in an 11-year cycle. But so far in this cycle, the sun has been disturbingly quiet. The lack of increased activity could signal the beginning of what is known as a Maunder Minimum, an event which occurs every couple of centuries and can last as long as a century.

Such an event occurred in the 17th century. The observation of sunspots showed extraordinarily low levels of magnetism on the sun, with little or no 11-year cycle.

This solar hibernation corresponded with a period of bitter cold that began around 1650 and lasted, with intermittent spikes of warming, until 1715. Frigid winters and cold summers during that period led to massive crop failures, famine and death in Northern Europe.

Tapping reports no change in the sun's magnetic field so far this cycle and warns that if the sun remains quiet for another year or two, it may indicate a repeat of that period of drastic cooling of the Earth, bringing massive snowfall and severe weather to the Northern Hemisphere.

Tapping oversees the operation of a 60-year-old radio telescope that he calls a "stethoscope for the sun." But he and his colleagues need better equipment.

In Canada, where radio-telescopic monitoring of the sun has been conducted since the end of World War II, a new instrument, the next-generation solar flux monitor, could measure the sun's emissions more rapidly and accurately.

As we have noted many times, perhaps the biggest impact on the Earth's climate over time has been the sun.

For instance, researchers at the Max Planck Institute for Solar Research in Germany report the sun has been burning more brightly over the last 60 years, accounting for the 1 degree Celsius increase in Earth's temperature over the last 100 years.

R. Timothy Patterson, professor of geology and director of the Ottawa-Carleton Geoscience Center of Canada's Carleton University, says that "CO2 variations show little correlation with our planet's climate on long, medium and even short time scales."

Rather, he says, "I and the first-class scientists I work with are consistently finding excellent correlations between the regular fluctuations of the sun and earthly climate. This is not surprising. The sun and the stars are the ultimate source of energy on this planet."

Patterson, sharing Tapping's concern, says: "Solar scientists predict that, by 2020, the sun will be starting into its weakest Schwabe cycle of the past two centuries, likely leading to unusually cool conditions on Earth."

"Solar activity has overpowered any effect that CO2 has had before, and it most likely will again," Patterson says. "If we were to have even a medium-sized solar minimum, we could be looking at a lot more bad effects than 'global warming' would have had."

In 2005, Russian astronomer Khabibullo Abdusamatov made some waves — and not a few enemies in the global warming "community" — by predicting that the sun would reach a peak of activity about three years from now, to be accompanied by "dramatic changes" in temperatures.

A Hoover Institution Study a few years back examined historical data and came to a similar conclusion.

"The effects of solar activity and volcanoes are impossible to miss. Temperatures fluctuated exactly as expected, and the pattern was so clear that, statistically, the odds of the correlation existing by chance were one in 100," according to Hoover fellow Bruce Berkowitz.

The study says that "try as we might, we simply could not find any relationship between industrial activity, energy consumption and changes in global temperatures."

The study concludes that if you shut down all the world's power plants and factories, "there would not be much effect on temperatures."

But if the sun shuts down, we've got a problem. It is the sun, not the Earth, that's hanging in the balance.

Rick Perry..We don't need a fence!

I found an interesting article by a fellow Texas Conservative that I thought you might like to see.
If you live in Texas, Please pay attention! If you care about your state, follow the instructions and let Mr. Perry know this is an important issue and not to fool with our Great State and Nation's sovereignty..

Rick Perry's Immigration Flip-Flop

It's not everyday a politician makes a remark as scandalous and inflammatory as our Governor Rick Perry did on August 29, when he was in Mexico for trade talks. The Republican let slip this beauty:

"I don't think this is that difficult an issue if Congress would have the maturity to sit down and really discuss it and cut out all the mean rhetoric," said Perry.

Now, looking at this statement without the advantage of knowing what issue Perry is talking about would be quite difficult and you wouldn't be able to automatically discern what exactly the "mean rhetoric" represents.

Here's a hint though, as there is one key word in the opening paragraph that serves as the catalyst for these remarks: Mexico.
Our Republican governor was discussing immigration, easily the most contentious issue currently being debated in America today. But he wasn't addressing an American crowd, but was venting his thoughts on the issue in Mexico City, shortly before he was to meet with Mexican President Felipe Calderon, who himself is lobbying on the behalf of his people for the right to colonize our country.

Perry continued his diatribe in Mexico City by criticizing the United States Congress for failing to pass the comprehensive immigration bill early this year that would have legalized tens of millions of workers in our country.

This is truly mind-boggling, but typical of a Republican in such a high office as Perry. First, Perry shows an utter contempt for the Texas population and American population who were overwhelming against President Bush's immigration proposal that was shot down in July of this year by the U.S. Senate.

Secondly, Perry spoke these words in Mexico City, the citadel of the effort to remake the United States in Mexico's image.

Truthfully, though, the home-base of the effort to permanently alter the United States is in Washington D.C., where our duplicitous elected officials have worked to undermine American laws and grant amnesty to illegal aliens residing in our country.

If not for the wave of righteous indignation that arose across the country in April, May, June and July against President Bush and the Republican/Democrats who wanted to grant amnesty, Governor Perry would have gotten his wish.

Perry would go on to say:

"We need those individuals to continue to grow our economy," he said of Texas' undocumented workers, most of whom hail from Mexico.
"The vast, vast majority of those individuals want to come and work and take care of their families."

This type of statement is silly and indicative of the lunacy of the pro-immigration, amnesty supporters in the debate. You always hear and read how America's economy is improved by illegal immigrants and how the immigrants are only coming to America to better their lives.

Well, Governor Perry, despite the mountains of evidence that run counter to your argument - which will be dissected in a later column - the question to you is simply this: What does your statement mean to the average American family, struggling to get by due to depressed wages and the availability of cheaper workers? Are immigrants actually improving the life of Americans?

Perry also said:

"We know how to deal with border security, and you don't do it by building a fence,"

And

"Part of the reason for the shrillness of the debate over immigration, he said, was that media have given a "megaphone ... to people to say mean and nasty things."

How exactly Perry believes the United States knows how to deal with border security is never answered. What we do know is that our borders are still wide open and that a fence is still nowhere near being built, which would, of course, work to deter illegal immigrants from entering the U.S.

Perry believes the best way to deal with border security is to simply do away with the U.S./Mexican border, and allow the free migration of migrant workers to flow without any sign of stopping.
Perry is the one who has been given the megaphone in this instance, and he is the one saying mean things - to those of us who believe the laws of our land should be upheld.

Simply put, these comments from Perry show that we as Texans must work together to do something about our border security, if our elected officials won't.  We must alert our state representatives about our dissatisfaction with Perry over this issue and should also tell the Governor that we aren't happy with his remarks in Mexico.

Flood Perry's office with calls, e-mails and faxes letting him now your thoughts on the issue and telling him that we must have a fence to stop the illegal alien flow and also that pro-illegal alien rhetoric is no longer going to be tolerated.

Pork List

I found this rather interesting. Look down the list of these special entitlements and see if you see any familiar names... If your Congressman or Senator is on this list, write them and tell them how frustrated you are with how our tax money is being wasted and given to special interests.

www.taxpayer.net/budget/fy08appropschart.html.

Among the highlights that might pizz you off are:

$1,000.000 for Clinton School of Public Service, Little Rock Ark in the Labor Bill
$1,500,000 for AFL-CIO Working for America Institute Washington DC
$7,500,000 for Harking grant Program, Iowa
$3,000.000 for Raza Development Fund of La Raza     This one really pizzez me off!!!!
$10,695,000 National Board for Professional Teaching Standards
$6,305,310 John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts
$34,500,000 Alaska Native Educational Equity Assistance Program

There's lots more too. Take a look.
I know some of this stuff is needed, but gee, if it is really needed, then it doesn't need to be slipped into bills, and should be able to stand on it's own legislation.

I Want a REFUND!

I'm writing this today to call or write any and all of the following US Senate representative and respectfully ask them to resign. Knowing that they won't do that then we must ask for a refund of our taxes for their misuse of  of our tax money that we pay them to conduct Government business.
Below you will find a list of senators that sent a letter to Mr. Mark Mays trying to censor a TALK SHOW HOST!!!!
How is this conducting Government Business! How is this using tax payer funds to better America?!?
This is a clear waste of MY MONEY!!!!!! That's right folks, the government doesn't have any money, it's OURS, NOT THEIRS!!! We have to start calling them on this people. it's getting out of hand FAST!
Maybe if more people will pay attention what our Congress is doing with OUR money, they will get a clue.

Copy of the "Letter" with signatures

 October 2, 2007

Mr. Mark P. Mays
CEO, Clear Channel Communications Inc.
200 East Basse Road
San Antonio, TX 78209

Dear Mr. Mays,

At the time we sign this letter, 3,808 American soldiers have been killed in Iraq, and another 28,009 have been wounded. 160,000 others awoke this morning on foreign sand, far from home, to face the danger and uncertainty of another day at war.

Although Americans of goodwill debate the merits of this war, we can all agree that those who serve with such great courage deserve our deepest respect and gratitude. That is why Rush Limbaugh’s recent characterization of troops who oppose the war as “phony soldiers” is such an outrage.

Our troops are fighting and dying to bring to others the freedoms that many take for granted. It is unconscionable that Mr. Limbaugh would criticize them for exercising the fundamentally American right to free speech. Mr. Limbaugh has made outrageous remarks before, but this affront to our soldiers is beyond the pale.

The military, like any community within the United States, includes members both for and against the war. Senior generals, such as General John Batiste and Paul Eaton, have come out against the war while others have publicly supported it. A December 2006 poll conducted by the Military Times found just 35 percent of service members approved of President Bush’s handling of the war in Iraq, compared to 42 percent who disapproved. From this figure alone, it is clear that Mr. Limbaugh’s insult is directed at thousands of American service members.

Active and retired members of our armed forces have a unique perspective on the war and offer a valuable contribution to our national debate. In August, seven soldiers wrote an op-ed expressing their concern with the current strategy in Iraq. Tragically, since then, two of those seven soldiers have made the ultimate sacrifice in Iraq.

Thousands of active troops and veterans were subjected to Mr. Limbaugh’s unpatriotic and indefensible comments on your broadcast. We trust you will agree that not a single one of our sons, daughters, neighbors and friends serving overseas is a “phony soldier.” We call on you to publicly repudiate these comments that call into question their service and sacrifice and to ask Mr. Limbaugh to apologize for his comments.

Sincerely,

Senator Harry Reid, Majority Leader
Senator Richard Durbin, Assistant Majority Leader
Senator Charles Schumer, Vice Chairman, Democratic Conference
Senator Patty Murray, Secretary, Democratic Conference
Senator Daniel Akaka
Senator Max Baucus
Senator Joseph Biden
Senator Barbara Boxer
Senator Sherrod Brown
Senator Robert Byrd
Senator Benjamin Cardin
Senator Tom Carper
Senator Bob Casey
Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton
Senator Kent Conrad
Senator Christopher Dodd
Senator Byron Dorgan
Senator Dianne Feinstein
Senator Tom Harkin
Senator Daniel Inouye
Senator Edward M. Kennedy
Senator John Kerry
Senator Amy Klobuchar
Senator Mary Landrieu
Senator Frank Lautenberg
Senator Patrick Leahy
Senator Carl Levin
Senator Blanche Lincoln
Senator Bob Menendez
Senator Barbara Mikulski
Senator Bill Nelson
Senator Barack Obama
Senator Jack Reed
Senator Jay Rockefeller
Senator Ken Salazar
Senator Bernie Sanders
Senator Debbie Stabenow
Senator Jon Tester
Senator Jim Webb
Senator Sheldon Whitehouse
Senator Ron Wyden

Check out this list. All of these people wasted your tax money on something that has no relevance to what they take your money for. I will also apply this to the moveon.org fiasco. I want a refund for that time as well.

The problem is that public concern will take care of these issues, not our government representatives that are supposed to be working for us to keep us safe and prosperous in the world stage.

Call Your US Representatives

The Latest info from Numbers USA.
This is the latest attempt to force illegal immigration on us! The Senate will never let up on this issue unless we continue to expose them for the things they are trying to do behind our backs in the name of Protecting every human as though they are already American Citizens. What part of Illegal do they not understand?!?!

The DREAM Act (Amendment 2237 to the Defense Authorization bill) is a nightmare. It is a massive amnesty that extends to the millions of illegal aliens who entered the United States before the age of 16.
  • The DREAM Act allows illegal "teens" to petition for their parents, leading eventually to their aunts, uncles, grandparents and cousins:

The big argument for this amnesty is that it is for teenagers who are here illegally because their parents broke the law. As you will see in later bullet points, far more than teens can get this amnesty. Nonetheless, the argument is that the teenagers should not be punished for the crimes of their parents.

But as soon as DREAM amnesty citizens are over 21, they can bring in their parents who broke the law to get them into the country. The chief criminals will be rewarded after all.

And because of Chain Migration, the amnestied "teens" can see their aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents getting permanent U.S. residency as well.

  • The DREAM Act does not Protect Americans from Terrorists and Criminals:

Illegal immigrants are not required to submit fingerprints or undergo background security checks at any point in the DREAM Act process. Therefore, DHS has no way of learning whether an alien seeking DREAM Act amnesty is a terrorist or criminal. This security failure is compounded by the confidentiality section of the DREAM Act, which is a relic from pre-9/11 days (it’s modeled on the fraud-prone 1986 amnesty). This section basically requires DHS to hide information about terrorist and criminal aliens from itself. If a DHS adjudicator at USCIS learns from a DREAM Act application that an alien poses terrorist or criminal concerns, the adjudicator is prohibited from alerting ICE enforcement officers at DHS, and in fact, if the adjudicator did volunteer such information to ICE, he could be fined $10,000. To cap it all, DHS is prohibited from removing from the United States all aliens, including criminals, terrorists, fraudsters, and other ineligible aliens while they have a DREAM Act application pending, even if that application is based upon fraud or the alien is ineligible.

  • The DREAM Act Offers Citizenship to Illegal Aliens Who Lack Good Moral Character:

The DREAM Act does not require that aliens have a history of good moral character; it only requires that they have good moral character from the time that they apply. This means that criminal aliens, terrorists, and other aliens who lack good moral character before they apply get an amnesty for their pre-application period conduct, no matter how bad or extensive that conduct.

  • The DREAM Act is Not Just for Young People:

Sponsors insist that the point of the DREAM Act is to provide legal status to “kids” and “young people.” However, the DREAM Act is not directed at minors, as there is no age cap involved. Anyone, regardless of age, who illegally entered the United States before the age of 16 and has illegally remained here for 5 years or more will qualify for lawful permanent residence (and eventual citizenship) if they satisfy the easily-met criteria for DREAM Act amnesty.

  • The DREAM Act is a Big Amnesty:

It’s estimated there are some 2 million illegal immigrant children in the United States. They are only a portion of the millions of aliens who will likely qualify for the DREAM Act amnesty, because the DREAM Act does not place a cap on the number of people who qualify, does not limit the age of those who qualify, and applies retroactively to anyone who first entered before age 16.

  • The DREAM Act is Deceptive:

The marketing campaign for the DREAM Act makes as though the amnesty is intended for high school graduates who are on their way to college or military service. But the bill as written ensures that illegal immigrants don’t have to attend high school or go to college to qualify for the amnesty: they need only take an ability-to-benefit test and complete a 1-year vocational program to get eventual citizenship (and there’s no requirement that they actually complete their college education). Nor do aliens have to join the Armed Forces: they need only go to work for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration or Public Health Service for 2 years to get eventual citizenship.

  • The DREAM Act is a Fraud Machine:

We know from experience that amnesty from immigration laws generates massive fraud, and the DREAM Act is no exception. Nothing in the DREAM Act will prevent a 50-year old alien from asserting that he entered the United States before the age of 16 and has remained here ever since. The DREAM Act is silent on how DHS will determine the veracity of such claims. The DREAM Act will actually promote fraud because it prevents DHS from deporting aliens who’ve applied for the amnesty until their applications are resolved – a process that will likely take years, because DHS lacks the resources to rapidly process the millions of applications it will receive. Even if DHS eventually decides that some aliens do not qualify for the amnesty, DHS cannot use the statements aliens made in their applications to deport them, because their statements are protected by the confidentiality section in the DREAM Act.

  • The DREAM Act is Unfair to American Students and Taxpayers:

The DREAM Act would repeal the 1996 law which says that State colleges and universities cannot offer in-state tuition benefits to resident illegal immigrants unless they offer the same benefits to students who are U.S. citizens. So, an 18-year old United States citizen attending school in a different state will pay substantially more money for his college education than a 30-year old illegal alien residing in that state. Because public colleges and universities are heavily subsidized by taxpayers, Americans end up paying the bill for educating illegal immigrants. Further, because the repeal of the 1996 law is retroactive, illegal aliens who formerly paid out-of-state tuition will have the ability and motivation to sue for the difference between what they paid and the in-state rate.

  • The DREAM Act Puts Illegal Immigrants at the Front of the Line for Green Cards:

The DREAM Act requires that applications for its amnesty must be expedited, bars DHS from charging fees for expedited service, and fails to provide DHS the additional personnel and equipment needed to handle expedited applications. Because millions of people will file applications for DREAM Act amnesty (regardless of whether or not they eventually qualify), DHS will experience a significant backlog of cases that will necessarily slow DHS’ ability to process conventional business and family visas, and applications for naturalization. This will adversely impact our economy, and disrupt the settled expectations of intending legal immigrants to the United States.

  • The DREAM Act Will Allow Dangerous Criminal Aliens to Remain At Large in the United States:

DHS lacks the resources to detain all criminal aliens it encounters in the United States, and so DHS has to pick and choose which criminals to hold for deportation. When DHS deports a criminal alien, the detention or “bed space” vacated by the out-going criminal is immediately filled by another criminal alien. The DREAM Act does not disqualify anyone (even criminals) from filing an application and bars DHS from removing any alien who’s filed an application for amnesty. Thus, criminal aliens who have no desire to be deported will file DREAM Act applications to halt or slow their deportations, which means they will spend more time taking up detention space which could be used to house other criminal aliens. That means more criminal aliens whom DHS cannot house will be free to roam the United States. The DREAM Act also creates an opportunity for extremely dangerous criminal aliens to be released into the general population. By law, a criminal alien who is subject to a final order of removal must be released from DHS custody within 90 days if his removal is not “reasonably foreseeable.” As mentioned previously, the DREAM Act does not allocate resources to DHS to process the millions of applications that are sure to be filed, which will result in very lengthy delays. The result? A dangerous criminal alien who would otherwise have been removed from the United States files his DREAM Act application, and when that application stalls at DHS with millions of others, he can file a petition in a district court after 90 days to effect his release because his removal is not “reasonably foreseeable.”

Written by an Australian Dentist... To KillanAmerican

You probably missed it in the rush of news last week, but there was actually a report that someone in Pakistanhad
published in a newspaper an offer of a reward to anyone who killed an American, any American.

So an Australian dentist wrote an editorial the following day to let everyone know what an American is.
So they would know when they found one. (Good one, mate!!!!)

"An American is English, or French, or Italian, Irish, German, Spanish, Polish, Russian or Greek. An American may also be
Canadian, Mexican, African, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Australian, Iranian, Asian, or Arab, or Pakistani or Afghan.

An American may also be a Comanche, Cherokee, Osage, Blackfoot, Navaho, Apache, Seminole or one of the many other tribes
known as native Americans.

An American is Christian, or he could be Jewish, or Buddhist, or Muslim.
In fact, there are more Muslims in America than in Afghanistan. The only difference is that in America they are free to
worship as each of them chooses.

An American is also free to believe in no religion. For that he will answer only to God, not to the government, or to armed
thugs claiming to speak for the government and for God.

An American lives in the most prosperous land in the history of the world.
The root of that prosperity can be found in the Declaration of Independence, which recognizes the God given right of each
person to the pursuit of happiness.

An American is generous. Americans have helped out just about every other nation in the world in their time of need, never
asking a thing in return.

When Afghanistanwas overrun by the Soviet army 20 years ago, Americans came with arms and supplies to enable the people to win
back their country!

As of the morning of September 11, Americans had given more than any other nation to the poor in Afghanistan. Americans welcome
the best of everything...the best products, the best books, the best music, the best food, the best services. But they also
welcome the least.

The national symbol of America, The Statue of Liberty, welcomes your tired and your poor, the wretched refuse of your teeming
shores, the homeless, tempest tossed. These in fact are the people who built America

Some of them were working in the TwinTowersthe morning of September 11, 2001, earning a better life for their families. It's
been told that the World Trade Center victims were from at least 30 different countries, cultures, and first languages, including
those that aided and abetted the terrorists.

So you can try to kill an American if you must.Hitler did.So did General Tojo, and Stalin, and Mao Tse-Tung, and other blood
thirsty tyrants in the world. But, in doing so you would just be killing yourself. Because Americans are not a particular people
from a particular place. They are the embodiment of the human spirit of freedom. Everyone who holds to that spirit, everywhere,
is an American.

Please keep this going!
Pass this around the World?
Then pass it around again.
It says it all, for all of us

Tree hugger
A woman, who was a tree hugger and an anti-hunter, purchased a piece of timberland. There was a large tree on one of the highest points in the tract. She wanted a good view of the natural splendor of her land so she started to climb the big tree. As she neared the top, she encountered a spotted owl that attacked her.

In her haste to escape, the woman slid down the tree to the ground and got many splinters in her crotch. In considerable pain, she hurried to the nearest doctor. She told him she was an environmentalist and an anti-hunter and how she came to get all the splinters. The doctor listened to her story with great patience and then told her to go into the examining room and he would see if he could help her. She sat and waited three hours before the doctor reappeared. The angry woman demanded, "What took you so long?"

He smiled and  told her, "Well, I had to get permits from the Environmental Protection Agency, the Forest Service, and the Bureau of Land Management before I could remove old-growth timber from a recreational area. I'm sorry, but they turned me down."
